Happy Monday everyone! Today is a special day because it's also MLK day! We hope everyone had a lovely holiday.
For this week's Styled By RIRE we are giving our fleece lined leggings a 2nd look. Most would definitely gravitate towards a trusty black pair of leggings; however, try giving a pop of color a shot with a fun burgundy pair! See how we styled it below for easy outfit inspiration!
Be comfy and cozy throughout the winter season with a pair of fleeced lined leggings. Go a little out of your comfort zone by wearing a pair burgundy leggings instead of just a classic black.
I wore the leggings with a cozy knit sweater for a casual weekend look. The off-white sweater features a lace-up side detail with an edgy twist. You can wear it as-is or take your look to the next level by layering with a distressed denim jacket, like I did.
Keep it casual with a cute pair of fashion sneakers that are black for a color contrast. I personally love chokers so the choker and circle pendant necklace set was the perfect accessory to pull the outfit all together.
For this week's item I wanted to pick something totally outside of my normal choices. I was surprised how much I ended up loving the final look! I felt very Carrie Bradshaw [a la Carrie Diaries days] AKA super cute.
These leggings are the classic style that we carry every year and like I said I normally wouldn't reach for a Burgundy pair but I really liked the pop of color they brought to the table. I obviously picked a more formal-fun dress that I would wear to either a more formal date night or family event. The only part of this look that didn't work out super great were the black booties I wanted to wear since we were sold out in my size [big feet heyyy!]
For jewelry I wanted something simple that would look coherent with the blinged out belt so I went with a simple choker. This ended up being my favorite part of the look & honestly one of my favorite outfits we've done so far!
Who says you can't dress up leggings? Create the perfect combination of cute and comfy for date night with this outfit.
Normally I would wear leggings for a casual look but I was able to dress it up with a nice chiffon top and accessories. This top has a high neckline which makes it appropriate for work, then the off the shoulder flowy arms gives it a fun look for a night out with the girls. Just throw a jacket over and you have an easy work to play outfit!
What I really think ties this look together are the accessories, I especially love the subtle hints of gold from the necklace and clutch. All black accessories with these burgundy leggings, creates a sexy sleek look that is sure to turn heads! Yes, you really can wear leggings and look that fabulous!
Since it's finally winter in Sacramento I wanted to highlight that you can keep warm by pairing leggings with dresses! We got this dress in a while back but I'm so in love with it, I thought it would be the perfect piece to wear with the burgundy leggings.
Since this dress has a lot of pretty details I kept my jewelry to minimum. I went with my dainty constellation zodiac necklace (it's a customer favorite at the store). It adds just enough charm and it doesn't take away from the lacey mock neck or dotted swiss fabric.
Despite this dress having a lot of sheer detailing I still felt quite warm with the addition of the leggings. However, I added my favorite faux leather moto jacket to keep warm. I ended up wearing this outfit to dinner Sunday night to celebrate my fiancé's birthday!
Our fleece lined leggings go very quick! We hope to restock them once more before winter ends.
Please check back at the shops to see if we receive more.
We hope you enjoyed this week's Styled By RIRE!
See you next week!
Happy Monday! Are you currently living in sweaters? We are!
Sweaters are an easy way to be cozy and comfortable during the winter. This new gray choker neck sweater is no exception! However, it has a cutout in the front making it just a bit edgier than your typical top. See how we each styled it below!
Get ready for a night out on the town with friends! Turn this sweater into something sexy by adding thigh high boots. I went with a M/L sweater even though I normally wear a small, to get that trendy over sized sweater look.
What's cuter, a choker or a choker already built into your sweater?! This hot design is easy to pair with even the simplest of accessories. Create a chic style by adding hoop earrings, thigh high boots, and a jean jacket.
Winter weather is here! Sweaters are my absolute favorite thing about winter fashion. You can wear them fitted, oversized, alone or even layered to create many different cozy looks. This week on Styled by RIRE we have chosen the choker sweater in heather grey.
I created a weekend look with the sweater by pairing it up with my favorite black distressed jeans. I layered the sweater with a winter staple plaid print tunic for an edgier look. With the choker detail, I wanted to be minimal on accessorizing.
For the finishing touch, I wore a pair of lace-up fashion slip-on sneakers in a classic black color. With the cold weather straight hair doesn't stay straight for so long so I threw my hair up into a bun and pulled out some pieces for a messy bun look. On a casual weekend, I like to keep my make up subtle with a pop of color on my lips.
I feel like it's sort of become my thing to wear a matching color scheme each week so I decided to continue that trend with our new grey sweater!
I paired it with simple black ripped jeans & a hand made navy scarf BUT I also wanted to include the grey cross-body Bag since it's furry & would provide a nice pop of texture.
I kept the accessories really simple, since the sweater has a faux-choker neckline I decided to skip a necklace this time and instead picked out some sparkly hair ties [I almost always wear these as regular bracelets] & some navy beaded bracelets we got in recently!
You could easily pair this with a grey, black, or navy hat for those Winter days that are on the sunnier side. I would wear this somewhere casual like a bar or concert, the sweater is a really nice material that feels warm but not itchy or overbearing!
For this weeks look I paired the soft choker neck sweater with a camo jacket that we used to carry and girlfriend jeans. I thought it would be a fun combination of colors even though its on the muted side. The sweater was warm despite the choker cutout and I really love the fitted sleeves.
I typically don't wear earrings so I opted for a long necklace. It can be tricky to accessorize cutout tops like this. Should the necklace hit in the cutout? Is it too much going on? I didn't want to dwell on it, so I just went with a more simple piece!
I'm loving girlfriend jeans! They're a more fitted version of boyfriend jeans. So kinda straight leg and also with a folded cuff. We're getting a new style in pretty soon! This darker version was from last year. It's a nice, relaxed alternative to skinny jeans and I think it looks great with the choker neck sweater!
