Happy Monday! It's time to pull out that little black dress but with a twist! This Black Overalls Dress is so unique and versatile, let's see everyone's individual style down below! Jourdan's StyleTime for something edgy! I decided to go with a casual street look for an easy, cool, and trendy outfit. This dress was great to work with because it's a bit sexy and can easily be dressed down, just what we need for this style! To give us that look we're going for, I added a red flannel shirt which I then tied around my waist. I also slipped it on when it started getting chilly outside. Flannels are always a great go-to when trying to create a street style look. I can't forget about the bling! To really make this dress pop I wore a large statement necklace that matched the silver chains on the dress. To top off this look I paired my outfit with my favorite pairs of Nikes. Josie's Style It's time to welcome spring with open arms - kinda! For this week's outfit I went for a bit of a preppy look. This dress is so adorable, I think I'll need to get one for myself! I paired it with my printed button up that I got from Strapping (our Oak Park neighbor). I criss-crossed the back straps to give it more of a flair. Honestly, with the right top this would also be cute backwards (of course I would suggest that). I wanted to show off the cross back so I put my hair in a bun and pulled some hair out to better frame my face. I kept my accessories simple with this fun bolo necklace. There's a litle tube that slides up/down so you change the look of the necklace too. Since this outfit was mostly black and white I wanted to add a touch of color with a baby blue bandanna in my hair! I would wear this outfit to spend the day soaking up the warm sun and visiting all the fun shops in Oak Park! Melissa's StyleKnit dresses are always a go-to for the warmer weather months. This dress has a twist with its overall shoulder straps. Wear them straight back or cris-cross for two different looks. As you can tell in previous Styled by RIRE posts, I have been sticking to a 90's style theme. I paired this dress with a short sleeve crop top with distressed details. The top is the perfect length to cover the low open back. Since the weather is still chilly here in Sacramento, I layered this look with a fun animal print moto jacket and some opaque tights. Accessories are the final steps to creating the perfect outfit, so I accessorized this look with the dual-layered choker and circle pendant necklace. Chokers are trending right now and are an easy go-to accessory. I styled my hair in two buns with hair pieces in the front to complete the 90's inspired outfit.
Welcome to another Monday everyone! Start off your Spring right with some patterns. Stripes are always a shop favorite and this Ivory & Black Striped Knit Dress is no exception! It's a great foundation for creating all types of looks, see down below!. Melissa's StyleStripes are a classic pattern that can be worn throughout all four seasons. Kick off the new spring and summer season with this striped knit t-shirt dress. I went for a casual weekend look and styled the dress with a lightweight camo jacket. Mixing prints are in style right now and the camo/striped combination is pretty popular. Sticking with a casual look, I finished the outfit with a cute pair of fashion sneakers. Accessorizing is all about pulling the outfit together. So I elongated my frame by accessorizing with the disc tassel necklace. It wouldn't be a casual weekend without a baseball hat and I wanted to add a pop of color so I chose this red one. It is perfect for the summer. Jourdan's StyleTime to spice up this trendy dress! It's perfect for an office look or even for a fun coffee date. I paired this dress with a fun blazer. This combination also creates a classy look for work. The gold zippers on the blazer add for an extra sparkle! To top off this look I added some black strappy heals and a matching black hat. All the black accessories are perfect for pulling this outfit together and creating the ultimate office look that is sure to make your coworkers jealous! Josie's StyleOne of my favorite patterns is classic black and ivory stripes! It's very timeless and looks great on many people. I went for an easy, casual look this week by pairing this dress with a denim button up. This denim button up features fun embroidery that adds an extra element of, well, extra! While the weather is breezy keep it layered over the dress to stay a little warm. When the sun decides to peek out it looks great tied around the waist. Since this dress is more fitted having the button up tied around the waist adds some curves (if you're a surfboard like me hah). With the light winds blowing I kept my fly-aways at bay with one of my favorite wide brim fedoras (note the buckle detailing). And so I wouldn't clash with the embroidery of the denim button up I opted for a simple tiered gold chain necklace. Wear it with sneakers like I did for going to the movies or any laid back weekend adventure.
Happy Monday everyone! This week we are styling our Teal Tie Top. This top is perfect for sunny days and great friends! With the trendy tie and flowy arms, this top is sure to turn heads. Lets check out how everyone styled this top down below! Jourdan's StyleThe sun is out and it's time to play! This outfit is the perfect way to kick off this beautiful spring weather. We love this teal color and the flowy sleeves on this top are sure to make you feel stylish. To cover up a bit, I wore a bralette under this tie top. Not only do you feel more covered up but you also bring an extra pop to this outfit with the criss-cross design. Finally, I completed this outfit with some distressed denim shorts. Perfect for creating a fun sunny day look! Spring is near and so are all the cute new items like this top! Josie's StyleThe sun is poking out in Sacramento but there's still a bit of chill in the air. So, for this weeks look I decided to use the top as an outer layer and pair it with a dress. Since I tied it up further to make it more fitted, it added some shape to this straight cut dress. The light fabric adds just enough warmth and the draped sleeves make it so fun to move my arms and twirl! I accessorized my look with fun rings. Melissa's StyleFestival season is slowly approaching and the tie front top is perfect to kick off the season. It's a great layering piece that can be worn with dresses, jeans, and shorts. I went for a boho casual look. I layered the top over a basic black tank top. I tucked the tank top in for a polished look and it paired it with my favorite pair of high wasted distressed jeans. To continue with the boho style, I accessorized with a choker long necklace set. I always like to layer with my choker so, this was perfect and easy for me. With the sun shining so bright here in Sacramento, complete your look with a trendy pair of round sunglasses.
