Welcome back to another Styled By RIRE! This week we are styling our Lavender Pinstriped Tee. This top is light and breezy, making it perfect for this beautiful sunny weather. Best part about this top is it's lavender color which is great for spring! Let's check out how everyone styled it down below!
There's nothing I love more than a comfy shirt that I can wear anywhere I go! And when i say this shirt is comfy....boy do I mean it! It is extremely soft and makes it ideal to wear whether lounging around in the house are hanging around town.
I thought the soft purple and white stripes mixed together really well so I decided to dress it up with a white overall skirt which helped bring out that purple a bit more. I love how these two go together because they both have such a casual feel to them but there are so many possibilities to events I could wear this to.
I decided to accessorize my fit with a long gold necklace with turquoise accents and a light bandanna. The turquoise in the necklace was a nice contrast to the purple and helped make the outfit pop even more. The bandanna tied in my hair helped finish my look and keep it fun!
Now that the suns out it's time to bring out the spring goods - and by that I mean soft tees, fun skirts, and sun hats! For this week's look I paired the soft (did we mention that yet? hah!) lavender top with a side tie skirt. These knotted skirts are really popular right now and here's why: the extra layer with knotted detail gives off a flattering look. If you've been lazy like me and still have a bit of your winter body, then these skirts will hide it well!
I dressed the look up with a mineral and beaded necklace, which matched really well with my sun hat. I wanted to add more color and opted for a tan piece to keep it airy for spring. This wide brim straw hat is perfect to shade my face from the sun and the black band goes well with the outfit!
I would wear this look to the farmers market because it's so comfortable and laid back. However, it also feels dressy enough to get brunch or linner afterwards!
It's finally starting to feel like Spring here in Sacramento. The warmer weather brings out cooler fabrics, lighter colors and flirty prints. The lavender striped knit top is a versatile piece to add to your every day wardrobe.
I paired it with dark wash skinny jeans that have some distressed details and a frayed cuffed hem. I am a little on the shorter side and since I wanted to pair the jeans with sandals I had to cuff the jeans a little bit to fit my height. The top is a little flowy and I like the fit of my tops to be more fitted, so I knotted it in the front. To pull the look together, I wanted to accessorize with the long gold necklace, something simple so it wouldn't clash with the top. I chose a gold one because it will stand out more against the lavender and white stripes.
Now that the sun is out, its time to bring my toes out with these strappy sandals. Don't worry I did get a pedicure (lol). The sandals are a classic brown that can be easily paired with an assortment of looks throughout the spring/summer season. I like to coordinate my accessories, so I matched my sandals with a brown straw shoulder bag. The straw bags are all the rage this season. Now that my look is all together I am ready for a casual weekend shopping or hanging out with my friends.
It's springtime friends! We have found one of the best Spring colors, lavender! Many people have trouble wearing stripes because it might look overwhelming, but not with this top. The white stripes against the lavender color creates for a calming design. Best part about this top is how light the material is, perfect for warmer days.
I decided to pair this top with some denim distressed shorts and a white jacket. I chose these shorts because of the warm weather and the distressed style creates a more casual look, which I am going for. An easy layer for spring is this white jacket, you can wear it in the morning and at night when it's chilly, then tie it around your waist when it starts to heat up! I especially like this jacket with this top because it really pulls out the white stripes and helps tie the whole look together!
For accessories, I paired this look with a brown belt and hat. Brown is a great accessory color for creating any casual every day look. Finally, to bring my own personal touch, I added a locally hand-crafted spoon necklace with my initial on it! This look is great for any sunny day with friends or family!
This relaxed-fit top is adorable! Because the fit is flowy, I wanted to keep the look slightly relaxed as well. I paired the lavender and white top with a pair of stretchy grey moto jeans, and an oversized distressed denim jacket.
The color scheme is light and almost pastel, so I decided to use bold accessories to turn it up a notch! Camel colored strappy heels opened the door for golds and browns. So I added a gold layered chain, a camel colored bouton cuff, and iridescent geo stone stud earrings.
Finish the look with a pair of sunset colored mirror lens shades and you're set for any weekend shenanigans! You can rock this look at first Fridays in Oak Park, a Saturday afternoon at Punch Bowl Social, or Concerts in the Park!
Happy Monday friends! This week we are styling our V Neck Button Dress in both charcoal and black! It is flattering and comfy, what more could you want in an outfit? This dress is perfect for dressing up or down, let's see how everyone styled it down below!
We have found our Summer dress! This dress is so versatile, you'll want to wear it every day. Being a midi dress with its tight material, it creates a long silhouette that shows off those sexy curves! The best part about this dress is how soft and comfy it is. The material is nice and stretchy, making it easy to walk in.
Calling all Blake Lively fans for this look! This outfit is truly inspired by her and her delicate yet daring style. I added a striped neckerchief as the main point for this look. To tie in with the green from the scarf, I matched it with a green hat. For a little extra design, I wore a black bralette that pokes through, which looks great against the charcoal color of the dress.
Finally, to top off this unique look I added a few small accessories that make a big difference! This straw purse is one of my favorites, it's big enough to fit all of your small essentials and has a nice casual design that can go with most everyday outfits. I also paired this look with brown sandals and gold hoop earrings which tie this whole look together, creating your very own Blake Lively inspired outfit!
As per usual it's been a roller coaster of up and down weather here in Sacramento. This week I went for an elevated casual look with our midi dress. I dressed it up with our new satin floral kimono since the weather has been all over the place, the light kimono provides an extra layer when going out and about in Midtown.
This soft dress is a nice thick material and I love the button detailing. Since I paired this basic piece with a statement outerwear item I went for minimal jewelry. I honed in on the dark rosey color found in the flowers by pairing it with my simple stone bar necklace.
For hanging out around town during breezier days I'd suggest a pair of loafers, bonus points if you can find a pair in blush! And for the warmer, sunny days I'd swap out the loafers for fun, strappy sandals.
I paired this simple dress with a fierce faux suede tassel biker jacket, a floppy hat, matte shades and a choker.
I like to call this look biker chic. You can rock this for an evening at the bar, a weekend festival, or a date in the city.
All black can still be big fun for this urban look!
Spring has sprung here in Sacramento, so put away those cozy knit sweaters and bring out your comfy knit dresses.
For a weekend out and about, wear the casual knit sleeveless dress in a classic black. It is very fitted and flattering. Since the weather is still breezy layer with a distressed denim jacket and cuff the sleeves.
For the finishing touch wear this look with a comfy pair of fashion sneakers. Add a pop of print to your solid look by accessorizing with a printed headband.
This is one of those dresses you are going to want to wear over and over again!

Welcome everyone to another week of Styled By RIRE! This week we will be styling our Striped V Tank in black and heather grey. Stripes are a big hit for sunny days and never go out of style. This top also has a unique cut that adds an extra layer of fun. Let's see how everyone styled this top down below!
I decided to wear the black and white striped version of this top. I love the comfort that this top offers. The low cut on the sides and in back prompted me to pair it with a bralette.
Since I styled the top with black jeans, and a long black and gold necklace, I liked the idea of going for a more bold color for the bralette, which is why I chose purple. It also went well with a purple bouton cuff, and complimented my purple lipstick and hair.
I decided to continue to break up the black and wear an oversized distressed denim jacket. Add some tortoise shell sunnies, and a cross body purse, and you have a complete look for your day off or weekend style!
Stripes are so in right now! I absolutely love the color black especially when it comes to outfits so this week I decided to go for an edgy look with the black and white striped top! This top is so comfortable and can be worn for any occasion. This is an outfit I would wear to a concert with my friends or even just hanging walking around Midtown.
I kept the color black trend going and dressed the top up with a black jacket and shorts. The white stripes on the top really pop out and help accent my overall look. The high waist shorts are a fun way to make the outfit a bit more comfy to rock, while the jacket helps dress it up while still being casual! The jacket is also perfect for transitioning into Sacramento's hot sunny days to breezy nights around town.
I also chose to pair my outfit with a pair of black sandals to keep my edgy (yet casual) look going! I could quickly swap out the sandals and shorts with some booties or heels and distressed pants to totally dress it up and change my look for a different occasion! This is a look that I would wear on a daily basis!
This top is making me crave sunny beach days! This black and white striped design makes for a classic summer top. To make the colors stand out even more, try adding a bright red lipstick! What I really like about this top though is its fun cut! It has a halter neckline with a big keyhole opening on the back.
To go for a more casual look with this top, I decided to pair it with light distressed denim shorts. These shorts are a must-have for every summer wardrobe because you can wear it with most tops! Also, they hit higher on my waist and are longer than most shorts, which makes these a bit more unique.
To add to our pop of red theme, I paired this outfit with a red crossbody purse. This both ties in with the red lipstick and makes the stripes appear more bold. Finally, for those finishing touches I added some sunnies to protect my eyes and gold hoop earrings for an extra little sparkle. I would wear this look to the boardwalk, a picnic, or even just as a great every day look!
This week's top is really soft and comfortable and it's too easy to want to wear it daily in a casual outfit. With the weather heating up in Sacramento I wanted to show how easy it is to dress up this basic top for an elevated look. By pairing this top with a dressy bottom I still felt comfortable walking around despite the heat.
I tucked the top in our new navy midi skirt and the colors went really well together. The skirt is flowy and perfect for evening festivities or work! Psst, it also has pockets and comes in cream and lilac! Halters are one of my favorite necklines, so I felt it was really flattering on me. The back has a deep keyhole cutout and it looks great when tucked into the skirt.
To dress it up even further I added a statement necklace for some glitz and glam. I then kept it simple with a dainty bolo bracelet, but I think a minimalist watch would be a nice alternative too. Since I was going for a brunch look I opted for wedges; however, flats for work or heels for dinner are easy substitutes.
A striped tank is a classic staple piece that can be worn throughout the spring and summer seasons. It can be styled alone or can be layered on a chilly day.
I styled the heather grey and white tank with a pair of tie waist gauchos in a classic Black. You can dress them up for work or wear them casually on the weekend. I tucked the tank top into the pants to create a polished look and to show off the tie waist detail. I paired these two pieces together because it was a nice contrasted look and depending on what occasion I can layer it with a blazer for work or denim jacket for a casual day off.
Because of the tanks neckline, I decided to keep it simple and not accessorize with a necklace. However, I did accessorize with a crossbody bag and its floral charm was the perfect touch for a casual spring look. It also has two hand straps that can be used instead of the crossbody strap for versatility. Since most of the outfit is classic pieces I wanted to finish this look off with a trendy heel. The black lace up chunky heel is perfect for the summer time. It adds a little flirtiness with its cut out detail.
Time to rock some stripes this summer!
