Happy Monday friends! This week we are styling our Black Double Scoop Dress. Every girl needs a little black dress in her wardrobe! This dress is great because it is easily versatile and you can dress it up or down. Add bright colors to make it summertime fun or black accessories for a sexy night out! Let's check out how everyone styled this dress down below!
It's little black dress time! This spicy little number is the perfect addition to any fashionista's wardrobe. Its scoop neckline and even more dramatic low back is just hot enough for summer. With a relaxed fit and short hemline, it plays between flirty and casual.
I decided to keep my look simple because the dress is such a statement piece. Pairing it with layered gold necklaces with various charms drew focus to the neckline. A fun bralette in black added strappy detail to the shoulders and back.
Black sunnies with gold detail and a forest green hat completed the look with just enough cool! This look can be worn with summer sandals for a day look, ankle booties for festival vibes, or sexy closed toe heels for an effortless date look.
If you live in Sacramento you know the temperatures can fluctuate so often that it only makes sense to keep out a good assortment of year-round essential items. This weekend went from 66 to 86 in a matter of 3 days! So, for my look this week I paired the low dip back dress with a button up for easy layering.
This casual dress can be worn for a lot of fun summer activities and the low back makes it airy to stay cool during the heat. I wore it with a sticky bra (just in case you're wondering what type of bra to use). However, I have a few strappy back bralettes that would pair nicely with this dress. With the button up layered over the dress I think it stepped it up and added a nice splash of color. I love button ups because you can wear them unbuttoned or tie a cute knot in front, I tried both and loved both looks!
I kept my accessories simple to not clash with the color and stripes of the button up. This marble necklace adds a nice compliment of color and design. This look is perfect for spending an afternoon around town and catching a late movie or dinner.
It's safe to say that the color black is completely taking over my wardrobe at this point. We're slowly drifting into summertime but I still love dressing from head to toe in my all black outfits! This week I went for a semi casual cute look with this little black dress!
This dress is perfect because you can style it up or dress it down to fit whichever occasion you find yourself in, all while remaining comfy the whole time! I paired this dress with a black jacket with fringes. This jacket keeps my outfit from looking too casual and the fringes make it fun and edgy! My choice of shoes was the deciding factor to making my overall look seem casual! The converse helped made my outfit comfortable for me to wear all day long. Depending on the event I cant change my shoes for some wedges to transition into a fancier look! It's all about the shoes!
Because my outfit is all black I decided to wear a gold and pink tassel necklace to add a little bit of color! The soft pink of the necklace helped add a unique look to my style without taking away from what I was wearing!
This dress is a wardrobe staple for all year long! It's light material makes it nice and cool for summer or you can easily add layers to make it cozy for winter. There are so many different ways to pair this dress, it works with most unique styles. I went for a more dressy casual look for my outfit by pairing it with a sage green floral kimono!
Just because our dress is black doesn't mean we can't brighten it up with a little color! This kimono is a soft mint color with a white floral design, perfect for spring. What ties the dress in with the kimono is it's black detailing that is very subtle but when paired with a black dress, it makes that detailing pop even more! Kimonos are great for spring because they are light and breezy, easy for creating a trendy springtime look.
Accessories play a big part when trying to spice up a simple dress! I paired my look with a white double circle necklace, the necklace helps pull out the white in the kimono. Something I like to do with simple flowy dresses is to add a longer necklace to create some shape. This especially works with kimonos, shirts, and any longer piece of clothing that might not have much shape to it. This is a nice casual look that is great for a long day of shopping and brunch with the girls!
Knit dresses are a go-to for me during the summer time. I love how they are lightweight, breathable and perfect for a mom on the go, like myself.
I layered this dress over a basic white tee because the dress has a low scoop back detail and I prefer to keep my back covered. However, wearing the dress over the tee gives this look a 90s vibe. Since chokers have made their comeback, they have been my favorite style necklace. I like this choker a lot because it comes as a layered set and I love to layer everything.
You can wear this dress for a day at school or for a casual weekend. To complete the 90s look, I wore a cute pair of lace-up boots with a pair of tube socks. I scrunched the socks right above the boots to add a little pop to my edgy look.
Welcome to another Styled By RIRE! This week we will be styling our White Denim Jacket. Instantly brighten up any look with this white jacket, perfect for spring and summer. It creates a nice polished clean look that never goes out of style. Let's see how everyone styled this jacket down below!
White denim is a staple piece for the summertime. I like that this denim jacket is lightweight and super stretchy, its perfect for layering over all your favorite pieces.
I paired the jacket with the flirty tie front mustard romper. Normally, I have a hard time with rompers but this one fit perfectly. I like the pop of color that it adds to the look, its fun and bright, perfect for the spring/summer.
For a casual weekend, shopping or catching a movie, finish this look off with cute sandals. Preferably in a neutral color, and the sandals can be strappy or slip on. I chose to do strappy pair to add a boho flair. I chose to accessorize with a dainty necklace as well as hoops to pull the look together but not to clash with the romper.
A good denim jacket is a wardrobe essential. A white denim jacket however, is an absolute must-have! It flirts between casual and white hot glamour, so I wanted my look to reflect that feel.
I paired the jacket with distressed girlfriend jeans, and a black sheer blouse/bralette combo. A long silver leaf necklace and silver bouton link bracelet plays up the silver buttons on the jacket and gives some glimmer to the look.
Black cat eye shades add drama. The flirty top gives you a wider range of footwear, from sexy stilettos, to jeweled sandals, or even casual sneakers. This look is perfect for summer concerts in the park, bar hopping with friends, or date night.
Elevate many of your looks by layering with a crisp white denim jacket! This soft and stretchy pair is a go-to piece for light layers during cooler spring/summer nights. For this week I went for a casual dressy look inspired by all of the upcoming spring celebrations!
I wore it over our new floral halter midi dress. This dress is great for graduations, BBQs, baby showers, or date night. I was going for an easy outfit for wine tasting! The pretty print and extra flowy layer at the top makes it easy to go bra-less or with a sticky bra.
I kept things simple since you don't want to be bogged down while hopping around the different wineries. To keep it spring and light I opted for brown sandals with a bit of a heel for height. By adding the white jacket it kept the outfit fresh and clean! Just make sure you don't accidentally spill wine on it! ;)
You can never go wrong with a black and white combo! This week I paired this white jacket with a fun black dress for a casual day. This jacket is a must have for your closet and is the perfect piece to complete any outfit. This jacket is light making it ideal to wear during any season.
This black dress is soft and flows nicely making it super comfortable to wear all day long! I rolled up the sleeves of the jacket to add its own unique style. Since I was going for a more casual look I wore flip flops with my outfit but I can easily switch them out for a cute pair of booties or wedges to spice it up and make it dressier!
Because my outfit is just black and white I added a royal blue necklace with golden accents! This necklace really helps make the whole look pop more! This is an outfit I would wear for a nice day roaming around Old Sac or to a concert in the park!
This white denim jacket is absolutely a summer must-have! It's clean white color instantly brightens up any look! Wear it in the morning or at night when it's chilly, then just tie it around your waist for some sunny day fun. It's great for turning a revealing dress into something more modest yet fun and bright!
Time for some bright fun colors! This dress is definitely a summer favorite with it's unique red color and fun floral design, this dress is sure to turn heads at any event. The jacket pairs great with the dress because it covers you up a little more and helps pull out the white in the dress to brighten it up. It also helps create a nice polished look which is a springtime classic!
This outfit is great because you can dress it up or down depending on what accessories you pair with it. To dress it up you can wear white or nude colored heals with a matching clutch. I personally dressed it down and went with a more casual look. I added a simple gold leaf necklace which fit the theme of our tropical dress, then I just added a simple pair of strappy brown sandals. This look is great for many spring and summer events such as bridal showers, brunch, or even out wine tasting with the girls!
Happy Monday friends! This week we are styling our Dark Wash Frayed Ankle Jeans. These are a great item to style because you can create so many different looks with them! Best part about these jeans are how comfortable they are! These are definitely some jeans you are going to want to wear every day! Let's see how every one styled them down below!
What better way to create a quick and easy summer look than with a pair of jeans that go great with pretty much everything! I really like that these aren't just like any regular pair of jeans, they have a light fade to them, along with distressed holes in the knees and fringe on the bottom. They are so comfy that they will get you through those long days!
The sun is out and so are all the fun bright colors! This top instantly makes me think of fun in the sun with my besties! The yellow and green on the lemons look great against the strong blue color. This top also has both white and black in it, meaning you can either brighten up this look a bit with white accessories, or you can do what I did and play with the black details!
Since the black is so subtle in this top, we want to really try to bring it out with accessories! I chose a simple black beaded necklace, black bracelets, and a black hat! These three items can be used in the same way with any outfit to bring your look all together. This is a great style for going out to lunch or shopping with friends!
Jeans are a go-to for any casual wardrobe. I love a pair of dark washed skinny jeans that are super comfy and have a little bit of stretch to them. The jeans have a frayed hemline that I had to cuff because I am on the shorter side.
I paired them with this vibrant red knot blouse for a casual-chic look. I chose this top because I love the color and the fun ruffled sleeves. For a gold sparkle, I accessorized with a simple layered necklace. I chose this necklace because it wasn't too dainty and not too over the top it was perfect for the look I was going for.
I would wear this look for a casual lunch date or drinks with the girls. For the lunch date, I'd style this look with a pair of cute sandals and dress it up with trendy lace up block heels for a girls night.
This week I got to style these fun dark wash frayed jeans! The detail on the denim made me go for a casual look. So, I paired them with an olive boyfriend fit T-shirt, and a great fair trade scarf with complimenting hues.
I wanted to avoid black, so I decided to display lots of varying neutral tones. I kept the fun going with the accessories, adding a camel colored embroidered belt. A long geo shaped gold necklace, gold hoop earrings, a bouton cuff and rings helped me customize my look even more.
I topped the look off with these great oversized brown sunnies with gold trim, and in this look I'm ready for any weekend hangouts! From the state fair to the farmers market, this style will make a statement!
I will forever rave about how comfy these jeans are! These dark denim jeans are possibly the most comfiest pairs of jeans you'll wear and perfectly compliment your body shape! I currently have an obsession with front tie shirts at the moment so I decided to pair these pants with our navy front tie wrap shirt!
The overall outfit has dark navy tones so I decided to make it pop with this fun blue accent necklace. These pieces of jewelry add enough color to the outfit to make it unique without taking too much away from what I'm wearing.
This is an outfit I specifically see myself wearing to a dinner with my girls or a date night with my boyfriend! I'd finish of the look with a cute pair of brown wedges to complete the look and dress it up. This look is perfect because I can always trade out the wedges for some sandals or flats to make it a bit casual to wear anywhere as simple as running errands around town!
Blue jeans are a classic wardrobe staple; however, this pair is a bit more elevated with fun details. The distressing is just right for me and at my 5 ft 5 in height, the hem is more of a cropped cut. These jeans look really cute folded up once to still display the fun frayed hem. Since these aren't just any blue jeans I wanted to pair it with a striped top that also had unique elements.
This top is amazing! It's really soft and it's a longer length (for those that want to cover their butt). I loved how it looked tucked in, it really created a polished look. There are no buttons but I like that the top has a deep v without being really exposed. The sleeves are really fun and feature a bow knot detail.
I kept it basic with black accessories. Since it's been quite windy I thought a hat would help keep my hair in place - turns out I had a hard time keeping it on my head with the wind! My sunglasses kept the sun at bay and also looked pretty cute tucked into the v-neckline. I would wear this outfit to work, it was really comfortable. If I ever decide to leave my house to meet friends I would wear this too!
Time to bring out some denim this summer!
We hope you enjoyed this week's Styled By RIRE!
