Welcome to another week of Styled By RIRE. Wedding season is in full swing, so this week we are bringing you easy wedding looks that are both stylish and won't break the bank! Most of these looks can be worn again for other occasions, casually on the weekend, or even to work. We went for all types of different weddings, so no matter the theme we hope these jog some inspiration!
Weddings are my all time favorite events because who doesn't love baring witness to two beautiful souls pledging their undying love to one another, while having the rare chance to get all gussied up yourself. This week I styled my outfit as if I were attending a tropical destination wedding! When packing your own wedding outfit just remember less is more in tropical weather because it's going to be grotesquely humid and you're going to be feeling real, real, sticky. You're not going to want to wear anything tight fitting or anything with a lot of bells and whistles like tulle or a row of buttons down your back because you're going to want to feel that island breeze when or if it decides to grace your presence.
I chose a double lined loose fitting shift dress in a refreshing misty hue with a warm tropical floral pattern splashed about it, which made it so festive and relevant. The sleeves are 3 quarter-inch with ties at each end which I love because it adds a bit of formality to make it wedding worthy. Another feature of this dress that I love is the slight slit in the neckline, it looks great on non busty and busty women alike! I love how fun and flirty this dress feels when I'm wearing it.
I chose to accessorize this killer outfit with a pair of vibrant red tassel earrings and two long necklaces. I love how the bright red color of the earrings stand out from the soft muted tones of the dress. For the two necklaces I chose two different styles, the first one (silver palm leaf) is super simple and matches the tropical patterned dress perfectly! The second sparkly beaded necklace is what adds a bit more wedding worthy pzazz and elevates the overall look from appearing too casual! I think that the two different necklaces mesh well together and give off a fun funky vibe. All in all I know I'll feel comfortable and pretty while dancing and sipping on Mai Tai's all into the night!
Wedding season is here and everyone loves finding the right dress for the occasion (without outshining the bride of course)! I decided to step out of my norm and wore a long flowy floral dress, and much to my surprise it was the perfect match for me!
This is a dress that'd be ideal for an outside wedding! The modest long length of the dress mixed with the sassy off the shoulder look makes a great contrast, but there's more to love about it! The bold blue color with the pastel flowers makes the dress pop more than it already does. For sure a head turner!
I accessorized with a white marble necklace with gold accents because it helped bring out the light colors of the flowers on the dress more! I finished off my outfit with some super cute tan strappy wedges. I love the way this outfit makes me feel so girly and dressed up while all remaining comfortable which is always my goal!
This week's theme was wedding attire! I love going to a fun wedding to celebrate the love of a newly wed couple! Since I'm a natural rebel, I wanted to go against traditional wedding guest attire. Instead of pastels and prints and bright colors, I thought of a raven. Blacked out no matter the season.
I went with a gorgeous black wrap dress, and kept the accessories as simple and classic as black is! A black choker with a rhinestone in the center, a black floppy brim hat, black/tortoise shell sunnies, and gold chandelier earrings to bring out the gold trim on the glasses. I also added a small black detail ring, and a black stone bracelet with gold embellishing.
I added black heels with a chunky stem, and gold buckle detail. Red lips and nails finish this look, and I'm ready to attend any summer wedding, bringing the "cool factor" as an additional gift!
Wedding season is here! There’s something magical about weddings, and plus it gives you a good reason to dress up and look cute! I think depending on what type of wedding you go to will absolutely decide on what type of look you should dress for. For my look I’m thinking about a wedding in wine country that starts later in the evening!
I chose this adorable long sleeve, maxi dress for my look. To me this just screams a wedding in Napa. The long sleeves are perfect for a nighttime wedding to give you a little bit more coverage and the pattern and material is elegant enough without going over the top like you would for a black tie wedding.
I chose to accessorize the dress with a longer pendant necklace due to the neck line being low cut to help continue the neckline. I wanted the jewelry to be gold to match the gold stripes in the dress and the detailing on the necklace had some blues in it that complimented the dress perfectly. I paired it with one of my favorite pair of tan mules. Any type of heel would go perfect with this! I would stay away from any flats just because the dress is longer and needs the height. Yay for love!!
Around this time of year we usually get a few customers every week coming in to find something to wear to a wedding. One thing I've learned from working at the boutique is how much weddings have changed over the years. These days there are so many types of weddings and themes that it can go from stressful to exciting when helping our customers find the right outfit. Since my style is typically more simple I wanted to try a more dressy look.
This misty blue grey dress has so many beautiful details throughout that it's hard not feel gorgeous and confident wearing it. Typically evening weddings call for more formal wear which I feel all these details really fit the bill. However, if you're attending a late afternoon wedding this one will work just as well because of the light color!
Since this dress has a halter neckline and so many details on the bodice I went without a necklace and opted for dangle earrings. I didn't want my earrings to also compete with the dress so I kept with shiny, silver hoop style earrings.
We hope we gave you some inspiration for your next wedding guest look!
Thank you for joining in this week's Styled By RIRE!
See you next week!
Hello, hello, friends! We hope you're staying nice and cool in this heat. Even though it's been averaging high 90s to low 100s we're quite excited about this 3/4 sleeve striped top that's available in white/black and blue/white. Most people would think of it as work wear but we're gonna show you the many ways you can style this for after office hours! Take a peek below.
Time for some stripes to class up your look a bit! For my look I played in between the lines of work casual and chic with a hint of grunge. This top is just what I needed for this kind of look! I chose the white and black color because I felt it created a cleaner look which I wanted with the rest of my outfit being more edgy. My favorite part about this top has to be the ties on the sleeves. It makes a big difference from an every day work top to something stylish you'll want to wear all the time!
For this look, all black accessories are a must-have! I paired the top with a black high waisted denim skirt. I think this skirt adds a lot to our grunge factor because it's distressed and edgy. I highly recommend using this skirt if you are trying to go for that style! For my shoes, I decided to keep it simple with some matching black strappy heels. I really like them for this look because it dresses you up a bit, while not going over the top. They also have a thick brown heel which makes them more comfortable and casual!
To tie in our theme with the black accessories I added a black choker that is actually attached to a longer gold necklace with a hollow circle in the middle. Since the top has such a deep V neckline and the other necklace is longer, I also added a small simple triangle necklace. For my hair I went with a thick side braid on each side and topped it off with a messy side bun. There you have it, the ultimate look for lunch out with the girls or a fun shopping day at the mall!
I always love when I can pull off a chic look, and this striped top definitely helps with that job! This is a top that you can for sure wear with any style of bottoms to create your own unique twist.
For these hot summer days I paired this top with my favorite distressed shorts! The fabric of this top is super light and makes it still ideal to wear on days out in the sun. The mixture of this business casual top with these shorts gives me the idea to let loose and have fun downtown after work for drinks with friends!
I accessorized with a black marble necklace with gold accents to add a little darker color into my light outfit. I wore tan strappy wedges with this outfit to give my overall look a little more flirty! I typically never wear earrings so I decided to wear a pair of gray fringe earrings and instantly fell in love! The accessories totally helped to complete my outfit.
Stripes are a staple item for everyone's closet, they are just so classic! This week I chose to pair our tailored blue and white striped top with our flowing blush culotte pants. The colors are soothing to the eye but contrast each other in a striking fashion. The silhouettes of the top and bottoms also contrast in their fit and are what help to achieve a more relaxed vibe. The style that I wanted to achieve this week was comfortable but also effortlessly polished.
I feel like this outfit is a great representation of my own personal style, tailored but breathable. I also love items that have a vintage charm to them and I am totally getting that feeling from this styled look. I chose the blue top because it has vertical stripes which elongate the torso and give you a slim appearance while the bright blue color is so refreshing! I paired the blush culottes with the collared shirt because the color is warm and muted compared to the bright top and the contrast was pleasing to me. I love how free and breezy these pants feel!
The accessories that I chose were a silver double layered necklace and a pair of acrylic Dalmatian patterned hoop earrings. The silver necklace is very dainty and adds just the right amount of interest around the open neckline, while the hoops snap a real pop around the facial area!
Striped tops are a classic and you can't really have enough! I know I have a ton, but I don't have too many that are vertical stripes. The beauty about vertical stripes is how flattering they are, those magical lines just elongate and make things appear skinny! When I first saw this top I thought of an office look but since I don't work in an office I wanted to play it up in a cute, preppy way with a hint of sophistication.
I paired it with a light blue distressed denim skirt for that cool California girl feel. To break up all the blue I added a pop of mustard with my new favorite suede belt. I'm a sucker for mustard mixed with blues so it was really fun to put this together.
Since it's been windy (while being hot) I went for a pony tail but I took it to the next level by tying a neckerchief around it for that preppy style. Look closely, you might be able to spot a parrot and some tropical leaves. The yellow is highlighted in the scarf and brings it all back to the mustard belt. I adorned my ears with marbley teardrop earrings in cotton candy pink and blue tones. To keep it street style cool I paired this outfit with white sneakers for a clean look.
This striped blouse was so much fun to style! Because it's a blouse, but has no buttons, and shorter sleeves, I wanted to play between casual and dressy.
I got immediate east coast chic feels from this blouse. I knew I wanted to mix up the color palette and be sure to not incorporate black. With the blouse being white with grey pinstripes, I had plenty of room to play. I decided to style the blouse with olive green mini shorts, and beige heels. I continued to experiment by adding a navy blue hat with gold buckle detail. The hat pulled the accessories together, which was a gorgeous gold necklace with blue stones, amazing gold half moon shaped earrings, and oversized gold circle frame sunnies.
This look can go just about anywhere! From lunch with friends, to a shopping spree, wine tasting, or a day party, this look demands full attention!
We have found the perfect top, now all you have to do is pick the perfect color!
We hope you enjoyed this week's Styled By RIRE!
See you next week!
Welcome to another week of Styled By RIRE! This week we're channeling our inner country girl in collaboration with Ace of Spades. Morgan Wallen will be playing on July 26th and we're excited to announce that we will be holding a special giveaway for 2 tickets to the show and a $50 gift card to RIRE!
The winner will be announced on July 20th! This week each girl will be creating their own pop country outfit that they would wear to the event. Get some ideas and make sure to check out this awesome show!
I grew up going to country concerts since I lived in a very small farm town. I grew up on the music and any chance someone were playing near us we would always dress up and go sing our hearts out. Thankfully we have Ace of Spades here to hold concerts that are close to us! Before attending it would be perfect to grab a bite to eat at Mas Taco Bar for the best food and then just walk right across the street to dance all night long to some good music.
For my outfit I chose this floral pattern top paired with dark wash jeans. When I attend concerts I want to be comfortable but still cute. Since I'm standing for a long period of time and will most likely be moving around a lot I want clothing that will be breathable and non restricting. This floral top is perfect for a pop country concert. The floral pattern is perfect for country yet the tie on the side and the material make it more fun and pop. For a country concert you'll see denim everywhere, whether its's a denim jacket, denim skirt, shorts or jeans they go perfect with every outfit.
For accessories I chose a simple gold necklace that compliments the shirt without taking over since the floral pattern is already busy enough. I paired it with a simple pair of brown leather flats to tie it all together. Here's to a fun night out!
Pull out those cowgirl boots because it's time to hit the dance floor and while you're at it, show off your country side with this mauve off-the-shoulder bodysuit! Pair it with cuffed distressed denim shorts to easily move around and show off those dance moves.
Accessories make any look so be sure to go big! To add a cute country flare to my look, I tied a neckerchief around my neck. But instead of folding it all the way like I normally do, I kept it loose in front to fit that country style I'm going for. I chose this one because it had a fun stripe and polka dot design. The colors also paired perfectly with the bodysuit, it is a similar pink but not exactly the same so it adds some variety to the look!
Finally, what's a country look without a super cute hat to top it off?! Brown is a key color to this style so I decided to pull this look together with a brown belt and hat! There you have it, the perfect outfit to attend a pop country music show. Now that you have the look, don't miss Morgan Wallen at Ace of Spades! After you're done dancing and enjoying some awesome music, you'll definitely be hungry so stop in next door to check out Cafe Bernardo for some yummy dinner!
This week I went for a laid back, fun style to get down and listen to live music at Ace of Spades for Morgan Wallen's country concert! I went with a laid back look because I wanted to wear something that I would be comfortable in.
I wore a gray muscle styled tank top because the low cut on the sides makes it ideal to be wild and free to move around as I please and dance all night, while also showing off a little more skin to still feel extra cute in this comfy outfit! I paired this top with cute distressed jeans to cover more skin in contrast with showing more off my arms and upper body with the tank!
I wore a yellow bralette because the bright color against my darker skin really pops out and makes a statement all on its own! And went with a soft pink belt to create a fun strawberry lemonade type vibe when looking at it with the yellow bralette! I finished off my accessories with a bouton bracelet! After my night of dancing ended at the concert I know I'm gonna be starving and in need of a good meal, so I'll right on over next door to Burgers and Brew for a nice big burgers and more drinks!
Long summer nights and good times at concerts with your best friends just go hand and hand. This week we're celebrating country music with Morgan Wallen at Ace Of Spades. For my sweet country girl look, I went for a flashy polka dot red dress to show that I also mean business!
I opted for simple accessories to let my dress take center stage. I'm really into small jewelry right now and I thought this bee necklace was the perfect complement to my look. Even though my earrings are a bit more intricate I felt the antique gold color would not outshine my dress. Of course, I paired this dress with ankle booties for style and comfort. The lower cut will provide more breathability and less restriction compared to cowgirl boots - perfect for all night dancing!
Before the show, I would grab drinks and food at Mas Taco Bar. I love taco fusions and they just released a new tikka masala taco which is right up my alley! Plus, we'll be right in view of the line and can enjoy our drinks just a bit longer and go in after the lines are shorter. After the show, I would grab garlic curly fries and a chocolate milkshake at Burgers and Brew because it's not all sweet tea with this country inspired look.
When I think of going to a show or concert, I always think of comfort. To see a live show is to truly enjoy the music, and extremely dressy attire doesn't coincide with real fun!
To see Morgan Wallen at Ace of Spades is a real experience! This fusion of country and pop is sure to have the crowd moving! The two genres together made me think of a modern retro look. So I went with bell bottom jeans for comfort and nostalgia's sake. I paired the jeans with a mustard ruffle sleeve top. Daring to pair red with mustard, I decided to wear a beautiful red necklace with blue and gold accents. The necklace encompassed all of the colors I wanted to see in this look.
Oversized circular sunglasses and marbled hoop earrings finished the look, and I'm ready to sing "The Way I Talk" at the top of my lungs with Morgan Wallen!
We hope you enjoyed this week's Styled By RIRE!
See you next week!
Big thank you to Ace of Spades for collaborating with us and giving one lucky winner two tickets!
