Happy Monday, friends!
New week, new look! This week we're styling our White Mineral Wash Tank. You might think of a white tank as just a basic staple, but we'll show you how to take it from drab to fab 4 different ways!
As I mentioned earlier, I love to layer and wearing the on-trend burgundy plaid top over the knit tank gives more of a fall feel. Wear it alone just like that and with your go-to ankle booties or dress it up and combine some texture by triple layering with the fringe jacket.
For the finishing touch, wear it with a classic polka necktie and a wide brim fedora hat for an easy casual weekend outfit.
To complete my look, I added sunnies and a faux wool floppy hat. We carry these hats in multiple colors and they are so gorgeous for fall and winter! Since I don't always have the time or patience to do my hair, I have become somewhat of a hat aficionado.
For this week's item I was really curious if I could pull off a more dressy look with such a casual/comfortable white tank top. It's a classic item that turned out surprisingly versatile!
I paired it this week with black flowy shorts that I purchased last week; I usually never like shorts that pass as a skirt but these were so flattering I had to get them. I love the tassel detailing too. In order to give the look a little more edge I wore our cropped black blazer along with an amazing ornate gold necklace.
The tank top is so soft it was ridiculously comfortable to tuck into the shorts which was a plus! I would definitely wear something like this out to a bar or a concert at a small venue. It was so comfortable and felt dressed up without being too fussy.
Rejoice! Fall is finally here in Sacramento! So if you're a native Sacramentan like me you know early fall in Sac is a roller coaster of temperatures. One week it will be 90 and the following week it'll be 70. That's why I was really excited for this week's style item!
Every person needs a trusty white tank - it's wardrobe staple! This one is exceptionally soft and it's been a weekly go-to for me. I love how I can dress it up or down with a quick swap in key pieces.
I wanted to show that you can easily dress up a basic white tank for work or play. I made it a little bit relaxed by doing a half tuck into the skirt. Admittedly the half-tuck is not as effortless as it looks! It always takes me 3 attempts, it's usually by then I'll want to give up and I chance on my magical perfect half tuck. I dressed it up with our chestnut faux suede cardigan, I feel like it really elevates it to the next level.
I kept my jewelry minimalistic. It would be really cute with tassel earrings and rings too if you want to dress it up further. I finished this look with classic black ankle booties. This outfit is great for work if you can get away with wearing denim skirts. It's also dressy enough for a happy hour or a dinner date.
Hello and Happy Monday!
Another edition of Styled by RIRE is here! For this week's post, we will each be styling our Striped Mock Neck top in black (it also comes in grey and dusty salmon!).

Street style is all the rage right now, it's like I am living in the past as a young child, except the revamp is totally better. It's crazy to see that the 90's are back and I am only in my mid-20's but, I am loving every second of it. This week we styled a mock neck striped tank, it's a great year-round staple piece because it can be worn alone or even under a jacket. If you have been around for a while you would have noticed my style has evolved as the last 3 years have gone by. This look is right up my alley.
I decided to pair the top with our popular black frayed hem ankle jeans. The detailing on the jeans take this look from casual to edgy so quickly. I always like to tuck the tops into the jeans because it pulls the outfit all the way together and in this instance, it made it easier to take the plaid button up top and tie it around the waist to add another layer and give it that grunge feel. Typically, multiple patterns are not paired together, but we're loving the plaid with stripes trend. These two simple patterns have proved to compliment each other perfectly, especially for fall.
This look is all about the details. I had a lot of fun styling this outfit and I'm currently obsessed with the necklace. The pop of color with the tassel fringe is a wonderful statement to add. When the temperature starts to finally cool down, layer this look with a bomber jacket.
The last thing to decide for this street style ensemble is what pair of shoes to wear with it. I always have a hard time deciding whether to go with a comfy tennis shoe or a cute pair of ankle booties. What's your go-to shoe?
I love a good staple that I can pair with pretty much anything in my closet. And being able to wear it all year long is extra brownie points! Whether it's 102 or 52 degrees, our mock neck tank can be easily styled with any outfit.
For this week's look, I decided to pair our olive faux suede skirt and our lightweight black cardigan with the mock neck tank for a fall look in Sacramento's current summer-like temps. What I love about this skirt is that you can wear it as I am, or you can pair it with black tights for a cozy autumn style.
