Hello again and Happy Monday!
If you're new here, every Monday we each style an item from the store in our own way and share it with our readers. This week we are styling our extremely popular Olive Leggings! We are loving the endless outfits to pair with leggings for the Fall and Winter season. Leggings can be dressed up or down while still keeping you warm and comfy! Our leggings are extra cozy because they're super soft and have a lightweight fleece lining.
If you're a fashionista at heart but also like to live in pajamas, then this week's post is for you! See how we styled 'em below!
Hey ladies! For this week's item I tried a combination of different colors that I hope comes across more cohesive than crazy, haha. I'm in love with this new grey sweater we have because the stitching on the front is really cool and flattering. I decided to go with the grey booties to tie the two together. I also added a berry colored scarf along with a simple tan fringe purse. For jewelry I kept it simple with our super cute California necklace.
I can't wait for the weather to finally stay cool for a while so that we can start wearing warmer looks like this!
Hi girls! I know I'm not alone when I say that I would live in leggings if I could. One of my favorite parts of fall and winter is dressing up leggings to create a comfy outfit but pairing it with trendy items to still looked pulled together. Being a toddler mom, leggings are a big plus when I have to run errands with my daughter, but also want to look like I had more than 10 minutes to get ready and don't want to squeeze into jeans.
I would wear this outfit from anywhere to my college classes, a shopping day, taking my daughter to ballet, or even just a boring errands day. And pairing sunnies with this look allows me to go makeup free! If it were a colder day in Sacramento, the beanie and scarf make the perfect additions to keep me a little extra cozy. Because the top is a lightweight chambray material, a jacket can easily be worn over without feeling too bulky or constricting.
Have a great week, friends!
A major staple piece for the fall and winter seasons are leggings, most girls tend to stick to the classic black ones. So for this week's styled by RIRE we wanted to branch out and show you guys how you can wear a fun color pair of fleece lined leggings for a casual everyday look.
Let me start off by telling you once you wear these leggings, they will be the only thing you want to wear throughout the season. The lining is buttery, soft, cozy and a thicker fabric than most leggings. This week's look I went for a relaxed weekend outfit, I paired the leggings with one of our new cozy sweaters in ivory. I like that the top is long enough to cover your backside. Since the weather will soon be cooler ( I feel like I say that every time and it is still hot, ugh), I layered this look with my favorite denim jacket that we carried a few months ago. Should we restock some more denim jackets?
The look can be pulled altogether by accessorizing with a long geo-shaped necklace in a gold-tone and on a crazy hair day add either a wide brim fedora hat or a baseball style hat. Since it was windy I went for a messy ponytail. For a stylish day running errands complete your look with a comfy pair of fashion sneakers and backpack style bag.
It's been pretty warm here in Sacramento, but I'm still excited for fall clothing! Our fleece lined leggings are a popular item for us and people really can't get enough. I don't blame them! They're so soft and stretchy, exactly what we need for the upcoming (already?!) holidays! The fleece inner also makes it perfect for cooler days.
I paired the olive leggings with a striped tank top for a laid back look. The longer length goes just past my bum. To keep warm I layered with our new taupe cardigan. The big pockets make it easy to carry just my essentials so I could forgo a purse - this look is perfect for going to the movies, Apply Hill, or any place where you want to be hands free.
I finished this easy, casual look with a chunky pompom scarf. I kept my shoes simple with low cut ankle booties. Boots would be great to dress this look up even further! Or for a more trendy look, opt for tall ankle boots (I'm on the hunt for a pair!).
One of our favorite things about fall fashion is the comfort and coziness of the styles, along with the infinite possibilities with layering! This week we'll be styling our Mauve Sweater Dress four different ways to show you how we each like to layer this statement piece, whether it's with more clothing items or cold-weather accessories.
Hello, I'm back in town & so excited about this week's item! Since the color of the sweater dress is a little more muted than something I would normally grab, I definitely wanted to pair it with something bright. I went with a very cozy jewel-toned blue scarf. I like it so much because it's a smaller size infinity scarf, something I don't have enough of! I also added some of our new hand-made earrings in a similar temperature as the scarf. They're a pretty teal color that I think really compliments the rest of the outfit while also giving it a nice contrast.
Lastly, I added a fun zipper pouch we have. Since the dress doesn't have pockets, I wanted something easy to carry along that also wouldn't distract from how pretty the dress and scarf look together. I would wear this to a few different places! Work, a holiday party, a day at the pumpkin patch, etc. It's really comfortable and versatile!
Hey ladies and happy Monday! I was really excited about styling this dress for the simple fact that I'm utterly obsessed with the color! It's one of those colors that flatters every skin tone, not to mention the style of the dress is perfectly on trend for fall and winter. I decided to style our sweater dress with a cozy infinity scarf that we just started stocking from a handmade artist, along with one of our popular wool floppy hats. This hat just takes me from feeling drab to fabulous, like I'm ready for tea and crumpets.
When I initially put together the outfit, I used our black fringe necklace. It has since sold, but I'm also really loving the outfit with the same necklace in burgundy! There are hues of dark red/burgundy in the scarf to pull together the red tones of the necklace and the dress. I also paired a black lace bralette with the outfit, so the comfort doesn't stop at your intimates! I have this bralette myself and it's one of my faves. I really love the adjustable straps to help with a little extra support for the girls. Finally, I went with a pair of black booties to tie the outfit together. I really love the trend of thigh high boots with sweater dresses for fall, but since ours are currently out of stock I went with our cute and versatile ankle booties.
Fall is all about being cozy and comfortable! This sweater dress allows you to easily be both while looking like you put in a lot of effort. The pretty mauve color is on-trend and adds a touch of warmness to a lot of complexions.
For my look I wanted to keep it simple with muted tones and layered necklaces. The navy coat adds another layer of dimension and an interesting color contrast. Doesn't it look like the perfect fall complement?
I kept it simple and clean with my jewelry. I layered my zodiac constellation necklace with the gold dipped stone necklace. The zodiac necklace is one of our best sellers and I just love how dainty it is! This layered look lines up really nicely with the V-neckline of the sweater dress.
Since it can get quite windy in the fall I finished my look with our grey floppy hat. It will also keep you warm and stylish! This look is great for a weekend getaway to San Francisco or spending the day at Apply Hill!
Now that we are in late October, the weather is finally cooling down and it is time to get out those thick cable knit sweaters, or in this instance a sweater dress. Sweaters are my favorite staple piece for the fall and winter seasons. I always tend to buy all the sweaters that we get in, so try to beat me to it!
This v-neck and shoulder lace up sweater dress is a great addition to your fall wardrobe. It is a little bit longer in length for me because I am only 5'1" so I accessorized with a medium sized black belt and gathered it at the waistline to make it the perfect length for me. I got creative by mixing textures when I layered it with a fur vest in classic black.
Chokers are all the rage right now, so add a little edge by accessorizing with one that has a splash of class with the dangly pearl charm. It wouldn't be a fall look without wearing some thigh high boots. I paired this look with an on-trend navy pair for a nice color contrast. For the final touch add a wide brim fedora and you're all ready for a fun, casual look.
Happy Monday, Ladies!
The weather here in Sacramento has finally started to get the memo that it's fall, but we're loving that its still warm enough to pair some fall favorites with summer favorites. Whether you love sun dresses or cozy #sweaterweather, this time of year in our city gives us the option to choose!
This week we're excited to style our black ponte mini skirt 3 different ways!
Black skirts are always a perfect staple piece to add to your year round wardrobe. They can easily be dressed up, down and worn for many different occasions.
I wanted to go for a look that could be worn for work or even for a casual weekend. I don’t know about you guys but I always love pieces I can wear to multiple outings. I paired the skirt with the cable knit lace up sweater in the off white color. I tucked the sweater into the skirt for a cleaner look. It wouldn’t be a fall outfit if you didn’t have some extra layers. So for the first one, layer with the playful plaid print button up. The print adds some dimension to this look.
Now that the weather is starting to officially cool down. Add a 2nd later with the camel faux suede long coat. You’re going to fall in love with the buttery smooth texture that it features.
Lastly, the accessories. For a weekend look add some opaque black tights under the skirt and some combat boots for an edgier look. Also a long necklace to give it that finishing touch.
When I think of a black mini skirt, especially in a stretchy material, I instantly think of an outfit for work or a night out. For this week's look, I decided to show you how to take a look from work to happy hour!
For the work look, I paired our halter neck top in rust with the black mini skirt and one of my favorite black cardigans we carry. The top is more of a matte material, which gives it a casual feel. By pairing it with a necklace for a pop of gold and black work-appropriate attire, this look can be worn to the office while still being stylish. I also decided to go with this top because I'm loving this color for fall!
I finished the outfit off with our bow mule flats. I love that they give your outfit a polished look without sacrificing your comfort. I'm one of those girls who have always wanted to be that girl who wears heels to basically everything, and always looks so put together. But I'm not and that's ok because hashtag, mom life! So I love to find comfortable shoes that still give me the feeling that I have my life together, at least when it comes to my outfit.
Happy hour with the co-workers? Girl's night out and your meeting runs late? Be ready for a fun night within seconds by simply tossing the cardigan and switching out the mules for a pair of our sexy black pumps! I also decided to pair another one of our pretty necklaces but this time in silver to show that silver jewelry can be pretty, too! I liked the choker accent on this one better for the nighttime outfit, as well. What are your favorite work to happy hour staples?
A black mini skirt doesn't have to be dressy! You can definitely dress it down for a comfortable and casual look by pairing it with your every day pieces. I paired the skirt with our mock neck top in coral and ivory. This piece is great for fall because it's easy for layering and will go with many items.
To bring this look into fall I added a denim button up as a layering piece. However, with a fun twist! I knotted the bottom and kept it unbuttoned. If it gets warm just cuff up the sleeves or cuff them up anyways to add more range to this look.
I kept the accessories muted with a grey floppy hat. It's a nice piece that will keep your hair tidy if it gets windy. And hold just the essentials in our new zipper pouch! For shoes I recommend ankle booties of course!! But it'll be cute with flats for a casual look or heels if you want to spice it up.
This outfit is low-key but all the little details add up to an outfit that gives off the impression that you put in a lot of effort! ;) Wear this out to brunch with friends or for the Dia de los Muertos self guided tour around Oak Park!
