Happy New Year, fashionistas! We hope you all had a wonderful holiday with your family and friends, and start off the New Year looking and feeling amazing! This week we are styling our ever-so-popular Distressed Denim Jacket. We're loving the Pinterest-worthy long style of it and the perfectly distressed accents. See how we styled it below!
I was really excited for this weeks item, this jacket is SO COOL. I got one from RIRE a few months ago that's super similar and I always get compliments on it. I love styling it with either super cute and girly pieces or something more edgy and dark. A lot of my wardrobe goes between those two themes so this piece was really appealing since it would work with a lot of it!
For this week's look I wanted to find a way to wear a variety of fabrics and textures in the same color scheme. Our fleece leggings are so warm & since we have so many colors I was excited to grab the navy ones. The lace up top was a little chilly but looked so cute with the purple bralette underneath I went with it anyways, haha.
I would wear this to the movies or even a holiday play! The leggings are so comfy I wouldn't mind sitting for a while in them. And they're super warm. I added some sunglasses since it's been cold but sunny out lately! I was also excited for this jacket since I keep seeing enamel pins that I love everywhere, and now I finally have a place to put mine. :)
This over-sized denim jacket can bring any basic outfit to life! I went with another layered look since it's gotten a bit chilly here in Sacramento. The longer length on this jacket adds more warmth despite the distressed detailing, also the pockets are a nice big size!
I've been obsessed with our new grey skinnies, they're crazy comfortable! I paired it with our black twist knot tee and our (sold out but soon to be restocked!) sherpa lined plaid button up. I topped my look off with a warm wool fedora.
By layering with this over-sized jacket I was able to create an effortless outfit that has a lot of depth and looks put together. I highly recommend adding this jacket for days when you're in a rush but still want to look like you put effort in!
Hey girl! If you haven't tried on a long-length denim jacket yet, you're missing out! I'm loving the length of this jacket to pair with either dresses or skirts. The wrap skirt we got in recently has quickly become a favorite of mine, so I knew I wanted to pair the two pieces together.
We just got this antique-inspired necklace in, and I'm obsessed! I love the metal feathers and the black marble stone on the shorter layer. Since I went with a more basic top, I thought this look would look even better with more accessories. I added in some rings and some holiday cheer with one of our Rifle Paper Cards. Lastly, have you checked out or locally hand crafted art? I'm loving these canvas cubes with cacti we just started carrying! Happy New Years and thanks for #shoppingsmall!
Comfy, cute, and chic are just what this look calls for! This trendy jacket is perfect for creating a stylish look, while adding leggings and a crop top will give you that comfortable feel. Personalize this look by adding your favorite accessories.
This is currently my favorite jacket because it's so easy to throw over any outfit to give it a modern distressed look. I paired it with gold hoop earrings, rings, and some chunky boots. Make this your new go-to jacket.... I did!
Denim jackets are a great year-round staple piece to have in every girl's closet. The cropped and waist length has always been around but now there is a new version of the classic denim jacket. It is longer in length and more of boyfriend fit which is a little bit looser than average.
This week, I've styled the boyfriend denim jacket with the black acid washed t-shirt dress for an edgier look. Since both the jacket and dress are looser on me I cinched the waist with a lace-up thick black belt. Now that winter is here and its freezing outside wear the dress & jacket over a pair of tights. Accessorize your edgy winter look with a gold chain necklace and a pair of combat boots.
Tie your outfit altogether with some winged eyeliner and nude lip for the complete streetwear style. Give yourself that winter glow with your favorite bronzer and highlighter duo.
Have you ever dreamed about the perfect cold season shirt in your head? If you love flannels but also love being warm, we may have granted your wish. This week's Styled by RIRE is our fleece lined flannel in black and white! (Yes, there's more colors :D)
Whenever I style a flannel, my first instinct is to tie it around my waist. Maybe it's my hair color, but sometimes I feel too cow girl-like when I wear a flannel as a shirt. (I even almost started this post with "yee-haw.") So for this week's look, I went for edgy summertime vibes in the winter by tying the flannel and adding our cutest new moto style blazer!
I love to add hats to my outfits, especially in the winter time. It gives a little extra warmth and also cuts my getting-ready-time down since I don't have to tame my mane too much. I chose this black wide brim one because I'm living for the trend right now!
I finished the outfit off with one of the cutest new necklaces we just got in. I'm not only favoring silver over gold these days, but I'm also loving stars and moons as well!
I'm really loving pattern mixing (even more than normal) so I had to pair our plaid button up with a striped shirt. I decided on a layering it over our mustard and grey tee for a nice color contrast. Are you loving mustard this season as well?
I typically would leave the button up open but I wanted to add a bit of oomph by doing a little knot tie. I'm also currently obsessed with knot ties! It only made sense to pile on all my obsessions for this look! ;) To keep even more warm I topped it all with our new distressed denim jacket (wearing a medium). The longer length and over-sized look is on-trend this season!
This easy outfit would be great for doing last minute Christmas shopping (or to start your shopping if you're late like me!!). Just add your sneakers for easy, on the go action!
Flannels are a staple piece for the fall/winter season and you're going to like the classic black and white flannel with the shearling back lining. It has the extra warmth for a cold winter day.
This week I paired the flannel with my favorite high waisted distressed jeans that feature a trendy step hem detail. I wanted to create a preppy chic look so I layered a basic black sweater top over the flannel. I added a pop of color by accessorizing with the red statement necklace.
Mixing and matching prints are in style right now and the leopard print jacket is perfect for taking your look to the next level. The jacket has zipper sleeve detail as well as zipper hand pockets. Complete this preppy-chic look with either a cute pair of flats or booties.
For this week's item I was excited to try something new and spunky. I have honestly never worn fishnets before but I loved pairing them with the wrap around style skirt and plaid top! I was definitely able to channel my inner punk, haha.
I added in the sunflowers & sunflower sipper for a little touch of brightness. Even though the top was a little over-sized on me I actually really liked how it looked tucked in! I would wear something like this to a night out with friends or somewhere I would be able to enjoy the warmth of the lined plaid top.
Time to step out in a fun casual work look with our black and white plaid top! I dressed it up by throwing on a nice blazer with gold zipper accents and I rolled up the sleeves to get an extra pop of plaid. What is sexier than all black?
I accessorized with a burgundy hat for that fun pop of color. Our pointed toe suede heels are perfect for dressing up this look! You are all set to survive your long work day in style!
Hey RIRE fam! We're feeling more giddy than Buddy the Elf about Christmas approaching. We hope your holiday shopping is going great, even if it's just for yourself ;)
For this week's Styled by RIRE, we'll be styling our new Grey Corduroy Jacket in five unique ways! See what we came up with below!
You may recognize this beauty from our IG or helping you find the perfect dress while shopping with us in the past. This week we're delighted to welcome back Jourdan to our RIRE girl gang! Can we talk about how cute she looks for this week's style? We're beyond excited to see how she styles items for our upcoming looks! Don't forget to say hi and welcome back next time you see her!
For this weeks look I did my best to be sexy, lol. I was going for a very specific vibe: College student that's just about to finish finals and is only able to throw her hair up and barely button a shirt before her last exam. I think I nailed it!
I actually really love this top, it's warm even with just a bralette underneath. I'm not usually able to pull off the slouchy one shouldered look but I think because of the buttons it was more possible and still really comfortable!
For jeans I wanted something a little more plain to let the top be the standout part so I selected our last pair [!!!] of ripped black jeans. I also grabbed our last pair of super reflective sunnies & called it a look.
For this week’s look, I’m loving the versatility of our Grey Corduroy Jacket because you can easily wear it open, layered over another piece, or wear it as a top alone.
The jacket runs a little big so I paired it over the cozy red chenille cropped sweater, and styled with a comfy pair of distressed black jeans for a color contrast. Flannels are a fall staple and by tying the red one around the waist, it pulls the look altogether for a street wear outfit.
Now that the weather is cold, keep your ears warm by wearing a knitted beanie! Finish the look off by accessorizing with the dual choker necklace set.
Even with the cooler weather you can still wear dresses by layering! I went for a casual weekend look by layering the corduroy jacket over our mock neck ribbed dress. I cuffed the sleeves for a bit of added flair but it would also look cute uncuffed or even pushed up if you got a little warm in doors.
I dressed this look up by adding fun accessories! Since the navy dress paired with the ash grey jacket gives off a muted look, I thought it would be fun to add pops of color. The wool hat will keep you warm and looks great paired with navy. One of my favorite fall accessories are neckerchiefs! They add an element of "pulled together" and they're practical with keeping you warm.
To be honest, when I first was figuring out how I wanted to style our corduroy jacket I was pretty stumped. It's not something that is usually in my wardrobe and I almost felt like I wasn't cool enough for it! But with a little help from Pinterest and my boho-obsessed style, I am IN LOVE with this jacket and the entire look I came up with!
I first added a sweater underneath the jacket because it's been pretty chilly outside, and I knew I wanted to pair it with our beige skirt to accentuate the faded grunge in the corduroy. I topped off the look with a neck scarf and hat because I've been loving this combo lately, and felt that it brought out those Palm Springs in the Fall vibes.
Finally, I added this vintage inspired fringe necklace that I've been drooling over since we got it in stock! I love how it ties in the black accessories and faded black in the jacket. Since it's such a comfortable look, I would wear this outfit to work, a lunch date, even a date night with my other half! This jacket is super versatile which is a winner in my books.
