Easy Wedding Outfit Ideas

7/29/2018

Welcome to another week of Styled By RIRE. Wedding season is in full swing, so this week we are bringing you easy wedding looks that are both stylish and won't break the bank! Most of these looks can be worn again for other occasions, casually on the weekend, or even to work. We went for all types of different weddings, so no matter the theme we hope these jog some inspiration!

Weddings are my all time favorite events because who doesn't love baring witness to two beautiful souls pledging their undying love to one another, while having the rare chance to get all gussied up yourself. This week I styled my outfit as if I were attending a tropical destination wedding! When packing your own wedding outfit just remember less is more in tropical weather because it's going to be grotesquely humid and you're going to be feeling real, real, sticky. You're not going to want to wear anything tight fitting or anything with a lot of bells and whistles like tulle or a row of buttons down your back because you're going to want to feel that island breeze when or if it decides to grace your presence.

I chose a double lined loose fitting shift dress in a refreshing misty hue with a warm tropical floral pattern splashed about it, which made it so festive and relevant. The sleeves are 3 quarter-inch with ties at each end which I love because it adds a bit of formality to make it wedding worthy. Another feature of this dress that I love is the slight slit in the neckline, it looks great on non busty and busty women alike! I love how fun and flirty this dress feels when I'm wearing it.

I chose to accessorize this killer outfit with a pair of vibrant red tassel earrings and two long necklaces. I love how the bright red color of the earrings stand out from the soft muted tones of the dress. For the two necklaces I chose two different styles, the first one (silver palm leaf) is super simple and matches the tropical patterned dress perfectly! The second sparkly beaded necklace is what adds a bit more wedding worthy pzazz and elevates the overall look from appearing too casual!  I think that the two different necklaces mesh well together and give off a fun funky vibe. All in all I know I'll feel comfortable and pretty while dancing and sipping on Mai Tai's all into the night!

Wedding season is here and everyone loves finding the right dress for the occasion (without outshining the bride of course)! I decided to step out of my norm and wore a long flowy floral dress, and much to my surprise it was the perfect match for me!

This is a dress that'd be ideal for an outside wedding! The modest long length of the dress mixed with the sassy off the shoulder look makes a great contrast, but there's more to love about it! The bold blue color with the pastel flowers makes the dress pop more than it already does. For sure a head turner!

I accessorized with a white marble necklace with gold accents because it helped bring out the light colors of the flowers on the dress more! I finished off my outfit with some super cute tan strappy wedges. I love the way this outfit makes me feel so girly and dressed up while all remaining comfortable which is always my goal!

Andrea's Style

This week's theme was wedding attire! I love going to a fun wedding to celebrate the love of a newly wed couple! Since I'm a natural rebel, I wanted to go against traditional wedding guest attire. Instead of pastels and prints and bright colors, I thought of a raven. Blacked out no matter the season.

I went with a gorgeous black wrap dress, and kept the accessories as simple and classic as black is! A black choker with a rhinestone in the center, a black floppy brim hat, black/tortoise shell sunnies, and gold chandelier earrings to bring out the gold trim on the glasses. I also added a small black detail ring, and a black stone bracelet with gold embellishing.

I added black heels with a chunky stem, and gold buckle detail. Red lips and nails finish this look, and I'm ready to attend any summer wedding, bringing the "cool factor" as an additional gift!

Wedding season is here! There’s something magical about weddings, and plus it gives you a good reason to dress up and look cute! I think depending on what type of wedding you go to will absolutely decide on what type of look you should dress for. For my look I’m thinking about a wedding in wine country that starts later in the evening!

I chose this adorable long sleeve, maxi dress for my look. To me this just screams a wedding in Napa. The long sleeves are perfect for a nighttime wedding to give you a little bit more coverage and the pattern and material is elegant enough without going over the top like you would for a black tie wedding.

I chose to accessorize the dress with a longer pendant necklace due to the neck line being low cut to help continue the neckline.  I wanted the jewelry to be gold to match the gold stripes in the dress and the detailing on the necklace had some blues in it that complimented the dress perfectly. I paired it with one of my favorite pair of tan mules. Any type of heel would go perfect with this! I would stay away from any flats just because the dress is longer and needs the height. Yay for love!!

Josie's Style

Around this time of year we usually get a few customers every week coming in to find something to wear to a wedding. One thing I've learned from working at the boutique is how much weddings have changed over the years. These days there are so many types of weddings and themes that it can go from stressful to exciting when helping our customers find the right outfit. Since my style is typically more simple I wanted to try a more dressy look.

This misty blue grey dress has so many beautiful details throughout that it's hard not feel gorgeous and confident wearing it. Typically evening weddings call for more formal wear which I feel all these details really fit the bill. However, if you're attending a late afternoon wedding this one will work just as well because of the light color!

Since this dress has a halter neckline and so many details on the bodice I went without a necklace and opted for dangle earrings. I didn't want my earrings to also compete with the dress so I kept with shiny, silver hoop style earrings.
