Welcome to another Styled By RIRE, friends! This week we are styling our Blue Floral Satin Kimono! This beautiful sky blue kimono has all the right spring colors. The hint of pink and white compliment the different shades of blue perfectly. Even better is how nice it feels, it has nice satin material that feels great against your skin. Let's check out how everyone styled this item down below!
Since spring is now in full bloom I wanted to channel that laid back flirty vibe with this floral kimono. The satin feel of this kimono gives off a dressy feel, so I wore it with our new yellow romper to make it slightly casual but also really elevated. Plus, the romper is so cheery, doesn't it remind you of sunny spring days?
I love all the colors in this statement outer layer piece and it made it fun grabbing different colors from it to match with accessories. I went with our new blush tassel earrings, the matte gold went nicely with the romper too. Since the romper has a tie detail, I kept my neck simple with a dainty cubic zirconia necklace that I think we should restock!
My best friend Jenna gave me a springtime bouquet that I thought would go well with this look. It also looks so insta-worthy in my basket on my bicycle! And don't forget May is bike month. This outfit made it easy to ride on my bike on, perfect for strolling the streets of Midtown!
Okay... I'm obsessed! I absolutely love the blue and pink on this kimono! I had so much fun putting together this outfit because it is all about color! I played with pink for this look and added extra details to bring that color out even more!
I paired this look with pink shorts and a white cami, bringing out both the pink and white in the kimono and making it extra light and fun for spring. I especially like these shorts because they are so comfy and have a unique design! With ties in the front and its soft suede material, these shorts are definitely a spring favorite. The white cami is a great item to have in your wardrobe, you can either layer it or wear it as-is for those hotter days.
Time to bring that pink out even further! To match the pink in the shorts and kimono, I added a crossed bralette with the same color. For footwear, you can wear any sandal or flip flop for a casual spring look. This is a great look for daytime dates, out to lunch, or even just a fun springtime photo shoot!
A kimono is the perfect layering piece for the spring and summertime. This one is lightweight and has a beautiful color combination that can easily create multiple looks.
I went for a more casual outfit by layering the kimono with a classic black knit dress. The kimono adds a pop of color and it compliments the dress with its black detail in the branches. You can wear this look to Sunday brunch with your girlfriends or to a music festival.
Go from casual to boho-chic by accessorizing with a silver and turquoise statement necklace. I chose this necklace because the clothing pieces are simple and the necklace pulls it all together and makes a statement. To continue with the festival theme, wear the dress and kimono with a cute pair of sandals. They can be a flirty, strappy pair or a classic slide in, depending on your occasion.
This beautiful blue satin kimono is definitely a statement piece! It is also very versatile. I decided on a sophisticated look, pairing it with a gorgeous white mini dress with back detail.
Continuing to play on the details of the kimono, I wore a pink and gray crystal mineral necklace. I brought more pink to the forefront with customized bouton rings, and pink pearlized circle earrings.
Sand colored open toe heels with tassel detail finished this look. This can be worn for a bridal shower, a formal dinner, or a Sunday at the winery.
Kimonos are totally one of my favorites and is a must have to keep in your closet, in my opinion! It's one of those pieces of clothing that are so versatile making it easy to rock for any occasion. As always, I went for a simple comfy look... because who doesn't like being comfy right?
This kimono is such a beautiful blue and I didn't want to take away from that unique color so I went with a white shirt. But who says white has to be boring? I tied a knot in the front of my shirt to still make it fun and pop out in its own way! And then went with my favorite dark denim distressed jeans to contrast the lightness of my overall look.
The floral design of this piece has pink and blue flowers so I decided to accessorize my outfit with a sassy pink necklace to make the pink from the kimono stand out even more! My purse is my best friend when I'm out and about roaming throughout my day, so I ended this outfit by strapping on this bold black purse. It's the perfect size to fit everything I need and the long strap is extra helpful for crossing over my body and keep my things secured.
