If you're reading this, you survived Monday! And after a three day weekend? You deserve chocolate.... or maybe some velvet! This week we're styling our purple velvet tee and we're absolutely loving it for the transition of fall to winter! See how the 5 of us styled it below: Adrianna's StyleI paired this comfy tee with our dark green leather jacket for an edgy feel, perfect for a fun daytime look! It's starting to get chilly here in Sac and I love being comfortable in the cold. This tee is the softest tee and for sure has a fall vibe to it with its dark purple color. A jacket can make anyone feel like the coolest girl in the room, and our dark green jacket does exactly that! Not only was I super comfortable, but I was super warm too. I paired it up with our black ripped skinny jeans, for a casual look. My favorite accessory is necklaces, and earrings. Adding a necklace can add a girly vibe to this edgy look and my hoop earrings made me feel edgier as ever. This will definitely be my outfit the next time I spend a day out! Sterling's StyleI was really excited to model pictures for this week's look but it unfortunately didn't work out this time. Purple is one of my favorite colors, especially this kind of icy-toned purple! I also love this material so of course I found a skirt made of the same kind to pair it with. I added in a pair of black leggings, just in case it got colder, however I would definitely wear this without them during the day if possible! This week I also added a hat, I chose black instead of one of our dark green ones since I liked the idea of matching the black boots. I would wear something like this to an indoor or holiday market. Somewhere inside so I'm not worried about being chilly. For jewelry I went with some distressed earrings & a cool gemstone necklace, I thought this would look good with the tan bag I picked! Josie's StyleAs I mentioned with our chenille sweater last week, this year has been amazing with so many fun textures! This faux velvety top is no exception. It's so soft and feels so luxurious. The material really transcends it from what would have been a basic tee. The boxy cut gives it a more casual feel while the fabric dresses it up. I decided to go for a laid back outfit. Until just recently purple has been pretty rare in fashion. Not many items were offered in purple colorways with greens, pinks, and reds taking over. It's really exciting to see more purple. I paired this fun top with a light chambray button up that has rose patch detailing for a flirty look. The black jeans gave it a slightly edgy feel, it's one of my favorite things to combine edgy and romantic styles. To help stay warm I added a knit beanie and I kept my jewelry simple with one of my favorite necklaces (also one of the first necklaces I ever sold at RIRE!). This look is great for school or going to the movies! Sarah's StyleFor this week's look I decided to pair our super fuzzy ivory coat with the purple velvet tee, along with some black distressed denim. Black denim is pretty much my go-to for fall, since it seems to tame the thunder thighs better than a light wash jean. Confession: I recently discovered the magic of the shirt tuck. I used to try all the time without success, but I finally have mastered the skill and I've been loving it for my flowy or loose fitting tops. And pretty much every mannequin I get my hands on, gets the tuck! Along with that nifty trick, I added a choker with a diamond and gold accent and a simple gold bar necklace. I topped the look off with some basic sunnies. I'm in love with the textures in this look, and have been one of my favorite trends this fall! Mixing textures and colors can really open up an entire new look on your wardrobe. I especially am loving the faux fur texture and velvet because who wouldn't want to be bundled up in softness with the temperatures dropping? Melissa's StyleVelvet is making it's way back this winter season and I am all for the buttery soft texture. I'm loving our on-trend purple velvet short sleeve top for the colder months because it's a versatile piece that can be styled for many occasions. For my look, I paired the top with a trendy pair of step hemmed denim jeans. The jeans have a highrise inseam and just the right amount of stretch for comfortable all day wear. Front tuck the top in for a polished everyday look. Now that it is sweater weather, layer with an oversized classic black cardigan. Pull the look altogether by accessorizing with a long circle stone pendant necklace with a black accent. Ankle booties are the go-to shoe for the season and they are perfect for showing off that step hem detail. Finally, you can top this look off with a cute wide brim fedora!
