Welcome back friends! This week we will be styling our Strappy Swing Dress which comes in both hunter green and deep purple! Which color is your favorite? With such soft fabric and fun colors, this simple dress can be styled a million different ways! Let's see how each girl styled this comfy beauty down below!
This great shift dress comes in hunter green and purple! With purple being my favorite color, the decision was made automatically!
With the silhouette of the dress being relaxed throughout, yet very short with spaghetti straps, one may not be sure how to style this. I decided to keep it casual and layer the look. I personally love the combination of purple, gold and black, so I went with what I love! I paired the purple dress with a mustard lace racer back bralette for some fun color blocking and material mixing. The rest of this look is completed with accessories: gold heart trim hoop earrings, gold and black feather necklace, and purple sunnies with gold arms.
Finalize the look with some blingy sandals, and you are dressed for some great R&R at the lake, happy hour with friends, or a concert in the park!
Summer is in full swing and it's time to channel a tropical look to match the heat! Since we've been hovering 99+ degrees all week this dress is so comfortable for all day wear and it's great for travel too. I paired this hunter green slinky dress with an orange, taupe, and blue printed button up.
This dress looks great on its own but the colors of this button up really make the teal shine. I kept it unbuttoned for a laid-back feel and so I can add a long marbley necklace. Another option I would do is to tie the bottom into a know and leave the top unbuttoned.
To complete this look I opted for light brown sandals, perfect for walking along the beach! This look is so comfortable I highly recommend it for travel. Whether you're going by plane, boat, or car it'll keep you comfortable all day long!
I think having certain basic staples in your closet are important to have. The ones that you can easily dress up or down and can easily be transformed with a jacket or jewelry. This purple dress is definitely one of those staples to have.
To compliment this purple dress I paired it with a light blue kimono to give it a lighter feel to the outfit. The pattern of light pink florals with a deep purple center help bring out the purple in the dress without being too overwhelming. If you were going out on the town it would be perfect to wear a wedged heel, but if you’re enjoying a Sunday in the park a cute sandal would pair so well with it.
I chose a longer statement necklace to elongate the dress since the kimono is longer as well. I chose a gold necklace with blue tassels to help compliment the blue in the dress. Silver jewelry would go perfect with it as well.
First off, I'm a dancer so I LIVE for soft clothes and always want to be comfortable, so I was ecstatic when I tried on this dress for the first time! I chose the hunter green color because I thought it was a bit more unique and a much harder color to find. This dress is exactly what I've been looking for, it's super easy to just throw on with minimal to no accessories and you're ready for your day!
I kept it super simple with my accessories to keep that easy, on-the-go look. I paired this dress with an oversized sweater to keep me comfy and a bit warmer for when the breeze kicks in. I really like this sweater because it has a nice neutral color that can go with so many different outfits, it's the perfect every day sweater!
Finally, to add some interest and a main focus to this outfit, I added a long statement necklace. This necklace is a great length for simpler dresses like this one because it hits right in the middle to give the dress a center. This is currently one of my favorite necklaces because of its unique geometric shape. This is a super easy outfit that you can recreate with a million different shift or shirt dresses, sweaters or kimonos, and fun jewelry! This outfit is perfect for a long day of errands, going out shopping, or even just a day you want to dress cute while still staying nice and comfortable!
Little sun dresses are the perfect go to outfit this season, especially on lazy days when you want to throw something quick on! Such a simple, yet it looks like as if you spent all morning getting ready. This week I decided to switch up my usual looks and go with a green dress!
This dress is fun, flowy, and super soft! What more could you want in a dress!? I decided to pair this dress with a navy kimino. I love this duo because I felt dressy but casual at the same time and it instantly put me in the mood to walk around midtown on a warm summer night for dinner and drinks!
Since the colors of my outfit are on the darker side I decided to accessorize with a long gold necklace to add a little spark to it. It helps makes the outfit jump out more without taking to much away from it! Now I just throw on some cute little wedges and I'm ready for my night!
July is officially the start of all the fun summer activities we look forward to all year! Sacramento, has so many outdoor concerts, festivals, markets, and events its hard to ever get bored. That's why this purple tank dress is a great light weight summer essential piece. Temps can easily soar over 100 degrees around here, so having to wear as little clothing as possible is definitely a good idea!
I love the fact that this dress is form fitting but also loose enough not to cling to any of your sensitive areas. Basically, its minimal and freeing enough without exposing unwanted rolls, bumps, or humps! Lets just say it can be flattering on many body types. I also like that this dress is a solid color, this way you can pair it easily with many other articles of clothing or accessories. I chose to dress this item up with a long denim jacket, mirrored sunglasses, and an assortment of bohemian jewelry.
The denim Jacket and jewelry that I chose to pair with the purple tank dress definitely made my overall look more on the casual side. My outfit was styled for a concert in the park because the mirrored sunglasses, turquoise bracelets and ring styled together had a full on summer music festival vibe. At first I was hesitant to wear this dress because I thought that it wouldn't look good on my shape, but I was pleasantly surprised with how comfortable and flattering it was.
We hope you enjoyed this week's Styled By RIRE!
